A rate is a starting value, not a lock. If the government moves it, you change it yourself in Settings → Currency & Tax the same day — you do not need a new version of the software. Individual products can carry their own rate, or be marked exempt.
Baki — the part every shop gets wrong
Most shops in Bangladesh keep baki in a register, and the register is always a week behind the shop. Busnipy POS keeps it against the customer instead: every credit sale posts to their balance as it is billed, part-payments come off it, and the list is correct at closing time without anybody adding a column of figures.
The recovery screen sorts by how long money has been owed rather than by how much, because the oldest debt is the one that turns into a loss. Reminders go out over WhatsApp and IMO with the balance already in the message, and every one of them is recorded against the customer — so the next person to ask knows what was already asked.

Does it work in Bangladeshi taka?
Yes. Choose Bangladesh during setup and every price, invoice and report is in BDT, with 15% VAT treated as included in the marked price and a "BIN" box on the invoice.
Can I record bKash and Nagad payments?
Yes. Add them as payment methods and each bill records which one was used, so the day close shows wallet money separately from cash and your statement reconciles.
Can a customer pay half now and half later?
Yes — split a bill between cash, a wallet and credit in one payment screen. The remainder goes onto that customer's balance.
Does it need the internet?
Not to sell. The database and the billing screen are on your own PC. Internet is only used for messaging, online backups and the phone app.
Is there a Bangla interface?
The software ships in English, Roman Urdu and Arabic today. Most Bangladeshi shops run it in English; tell us if a Bangla interface would decide it for you.
